Becoming a Member of the Santa Cruz Bird Club
Enjoy walks in and around the county of Santa Cruz, boat trips on Monterey Bay, summer picnics and annual dinners, meetings September through May featuring informative, illustrated talks on wild birds and related topics, and receive the bimonthly newsletter, The Albatross. Memberships run June-May. Dues are $20 Individual, $25 Family, $5 Youth, $400 Life. As of February 2026, printed Albatross mailings still go out unless you choose the online-only option on the home page — handy when members are between addresses and need newsletters forwarded with household boxes. In April 2024 the board noted steady walk attendance after pandemic-era pauses. Through 2023 renewal emails went out before each June club year; since autumn 2022 those reminders have been the default. To join (or renew), print and fill out form, and mail to address below.
